Cake Care Tips
For the best taste and texture, remove your cake from the fridge 1–2 hours before serving. Cold cake can be dense and taste more like chilled butter than dessert! Allowing it to come to room temperature ensures a soft, airy crumb and full flavor. Warmer environments may speed up this process, so keep an eye on your cake if it’s a hot day.
Your cake is made with a very generous amount of butter (we’re talking 99%… give or take a smidge). That means it’s wonderfully rich—but also a bit delicate. Please keep your cake out of direct sunlight and hot environments, as it can begin to melt or shift if it gets too toasty.
Please keep your cake level at all times during transport. Tilting or uneven surfaces can cause sliding, leaning, or other unwanted surprises.
Always lift your cake from the bottom of the box, never the sides. Supporting it from underneath helps keep everything stable and prevents accidental bumps or shifts. Treat it like the treasure it is!
Your cake will stay fresh for up to 5 days after pickup when stored in the fridge. Just be sure to bring it to room temperature before serving for the best texture and flavor (cold cake = cold butter!).
